About the role
- Security & Information Assurance Associate handling security access and training provisions at Babcock. Supporting onboarding and facility management in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Arrange security access to business sites as required
- Assist in organizing, scheduling and delivering general security training
- Assist in the onboarding of new employees
- Assist in the management and distribution of facility access cards
- Support preparation of communications for the Manager, Security and Information Assurance
- Participate in meetings regarding security analytics
- Prepare applications and annual Defence Resource Management Information System renewals
- Act as an Assistant Company Security Officer within the Contract Security Program
- Coordinate Requests For Visits to controlled sites
- Support Controlled Goods Annual training and conducting reference checks
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in security administration or general administration
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of physical security systems (Card access, CCTV, alarm systems)
- Strong English writing skills, experience writing security and/or emergency incident reports
- Basic knowledge of emergency management, conducting security related investigations
- Experience with Project Management and/or qualifications
- Familiarity with the requirements and processes of the government of Canada Contract Security Program
- Eligibility for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
