About the role

  • Procurement Manager overseeing contract deliverables for engineering projects at Babcock. Managing supplier performance to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Managing supplier performance and contract deliverables to meet project objectives
  • Liaising with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers at all levels
  • Driving cost control, budgeting, and earned value management
  • Managing contract risks, changes, and implementing effective mitigations
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in contract delivery within construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors (5+ years)
  • Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions, including FIDIC, NEC3, LOGIC, and BIMCO
  • Proven ability in cost control, planning, and budgeting
  • Skilled in managing contract change and variations
  • Engineering background and experience with complex EPC projects (advantageous)
  • Engineering degree or equivalent through experience
  • Project Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
