About the role

• Change Control Manager at Babcock leading change control processes for complex Naval Nuclear projects. Managing team and interfacing with stakeholders for project alignment and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and management of robust change control processes across complex, high profile projects within our Naval Nuclear business
• Manage a team of change management professionals
• Operate within a matrix management environment
• Lead the creation and application of change control frameworks and procedures across projects and programmes
• Manage and mentor a small team of project controls professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities
• Interact with Planning, Cost Control and Commercial teams to ensure consistency and compliance
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to clarify change impacts and secure alignment
• Influence Delivery teams to ensure consistent application of change control processes

Requirements

• Proven experience in project controls or project management, with a focus on change control or commercial management
• Ability to manage complex change processes across large-scale projects or programmes
• Skilled in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
• Familiarity with project controls systems (e.g., Primavera, CEMAR, SAP)
• Experience managing or mentoring team members within matrixed organisations
• Professional qualification in project management or controls (e.g., APM, PMI, or equivalent)
• The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance.
