About the role

  • Bid Manager responsible for leading high-impact bids within Babcock's defense and engineering sectors. Collaborating with teams to shape proposals for vital contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Developing bid strategies, win themes, and value propositions that set us apart
  • Coordinating inputs from diverse teams and managing bid budgets effectively
  • Facilitating workshops, reviews, and customer presentations
  • Driving continuous improvement and promoting wellbeing across bid teams
  • Leading bid teams through capture and proposal phases to deliver winning submissions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bid management and business winning methodologies
  • Strong understanding of capture phase activities and strategic planning
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Ability to lead and motivate multi-functional teams
  • Degree-level education is desirable
  • APMP qualification is desirable
  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
