About the role

  • Assistant Project Manager supporting digital and technology projects at Babcock in a hybrid role. Managing project delivery from concept to operational handover in the defence sector.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Digital & Technology Lead in managing multiple projects from concept through to go-live
  • Acting as an interface between Digital & Technology Delivery Support and project teams
  • Driving project progression and delivery using digital tools and processes
  • Leading approved projects through to operational handover
  • Ensuring compliance and traceability through effective documentation management

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing Digital & Technology projects, ideally in infrastructure or defence sectors
  • Strong record of leading projects from requirements gathering through to operational use
  • Familiarity with highly regulated environments and security assurance principles
  • APM Project Management Qualification (PFQ/PMQ) or equivalent experience
  • Must achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
