About the role
- Consultant supporting the digitalization of accounting for municipalities and public sector. Collaborating with project teams and clients to enhance financial processes in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Digitizing the accounting functions of district, city and municipal administrations as well as churches in collaboration with your project team
- Advising and supporting our clients in financial accounting, asset (fixed-asset) accounting and budget planning
- Training and onboarding users in new projects and for existing clients
- Analyzing and optimizing processes related to our financial software and the adjacent business units
- Providing process and organizational consulting in close cooperation with our clients and partners
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Public Administration, Economics, vocational training as a public administration clerk, or further qualification as a certified financial accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter IHK) (m/f/d)
- Desirable: knowledge of financial accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable), asset accounting and budget planning
- Initial experience in the municipal sector is an advantage
- Passion for IT and enthusiasm for consulting
- Flexibility and willingness to travel regionally (Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, North Rhine-Westphalia)
