About the role

  • Quartiersmanager*in responsible for facilitating social innovations and community engagement in Heringen. Strengthening neighborhood connections and developing sustainable local offerings.

Responsibilities

  • You identify needs within your neighborhood and implement sustainable, need-oriented local initiatives.
  • Together with residents, volunteers, and partner organizations, you initiate and support social development processes and thereby strengthen community cohesion.
  • You serve as a point of contact for residents, are responsible for public relations and documentation, and organize events, campaigns, and regular meetings.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work, Sociology, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong organizational skills with an analytical mindset and a passion for designing and shaping initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and digital proficiency (social media and IT).
  • Independent, flexible, and solution-oriented working style.
