About the role
- Head of Accounting leading the accounting team at Autogrill Deutschland GmbH in Hamburg. Responsible for financial reporting, process optimization, and leadership of 9 accounting team members.
Responsibilities
- Fachliche und disziplinarische Führung, Motivation und Koordination des Accounting-Teams (9 Mitglieder)
- Fristgerechte Erstellung des Reportings und die Präsentation der Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB/IFRS in Abstimmung mit dem Director Finance sowie der Group Finance in Basel
- Ansprechpartner/in für Wirtschaftsprüfer, Steuerberater und interne Fachabteilungen
- Sicherstellung der ordnungsgemäßen Durchführung aller Buchhaltungsprozesse unter Einhaltung steuerlicher und gesetzlicher Vorschriften (ESt, KSt, GewSt, USt, , etc.)
- Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung der buchhalterischen Prozesse und Systeme
- Durchführung von Finanzanalysen und Erstellung von Berichten für die Geschäftsführung
- Implementierung und Dokumentation von Kontrollen aller relevanten Prozesse
- Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Sonderprojekten
Requirements
- Betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder kaufmännische Ausbildung im Finanzbereich (idealerweise Bilanzbuchhalter/in)
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position in einem Unternehmen mit komplexen Sortimentsstrukturen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse im Accounting nach HGB/IFRS, im Steuerrecht sowie in der Konsolidierung und der Erstellung von Konzernabschlüssen
- Fachkenntnisse in Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen und Bilanzierung des Anlagevermögens
- Sicherer Umgang mit ERP-Systemen (idealerweise SAP) und MS-Office-Produkten, insbesondere Excel
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
- Einschlägige Führungserfahrung und die Fähigkeit, ein Team zu motivieren und zu entwickeln
- Herausragende analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten mit einem ausgeprägten Zahlenverständnis und operativem Verständnis
