Responsibilities
Investigate product practice situations with some complexity/ambiguity to identify problems, opportunities and root causes.
Analyse existing product practice processes end-to-end and recommend improvements to efficiency, effectiveness, quality and control.
Develop and maintain clear product framework practices and proceedures documentation (e.g., maps, procedures, standards, work instructions) in line with agreed practices.
Identify and assess product framework process risks and contribute to improvement recommendations and mitigation actions.
Support the adoption and effective use of product methods and tools; provide guidance to stakeholders on standards, policies and best practice.
Tailor product processes to meet practical team needs while ensuring alignment to established standards and governance requirements.
Use data and stakeholder feedback to generate insights, track outcomes, and support evidence-based decisions on process changes.
Assist with implementing improvements, including change communication, training/support materials, and monitoring early effectiveness.
Review and continuously improve how methods/tools are applied, proposing refinements based on lessons learned and performance outcomes.
Engage collaboratively with stakeholders (under direction where required) to gather requirements, validate findings, and drive alignment on improvements
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance, IT, data/analytics, operations, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Certifications in process improvement or analysis (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma, BPMN) are advantageous.
Experience analysing and improving framework processes/proceedures within product, technology or operations environments, translating findings into practical improvements.
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience to gather requirements, document processes, and support adoption of improved ways of working, methods and tools.
Working knowledge of process analysis and improvement techniques (e.g., process mapping, root cause analysis, controls/hand-offs) and basic risk concepts.
Practical knowledge of data analysis and reporting to generate insights, define data requirements, and measure the effectiveness of process changes
