About the role

  • Marketing student supporting events, content creation, and marketing strategies at a growing fintech company based in Köln. Proactive approach to event support and creative communication is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Event support: Proactive assistance with the planning, execution and follow-up of events, plus forward‑thinking involvement in all processes and details
  • Marketing assets: Conceptualizing and producing targeted marketing materials, flyers and merchandise—from the initial idea to the final order
  • Content creation: Independently creating engaging copy for landing pages and social media channels, and contributing fresh ideas to strengthen the company’s online presence
  • Visual storytelling: Planning and executing photo shoots at events, for social media and for employee imagery to authentically convey the company culture
  • Creative team contributor: Actively bringing your own ideas to the table to help develop marketing strategies and grow together with the team

Requirements

  • Academic background & hands‑on drive: Ideally enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field and eager to apply your knowledge in practice
  • Project ownership: Enjoy taking projects from concept to completion, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset
  • Organization & resilience: Able to work in a structured, reliable and goal‑oriented way even in dynamic situations
  • Communication skills: Enjoy writing creative copy and can provide new impulses while creating audience‑appropriate content to boost online presence
  • Visual sensibility: A good sense of aesthetics and ideally some first practical experience with cameras and visual content creation
  • Growth mindset & commitment: Interest in a long‑term collaboration, willingness to contribute actively, implement your own ideas and grow in a scale‑up environment
