Responsibilities
Support a large government program by developing and delivering executive-ready communications and presentations.
This role partners with program leadership and stakeholders to translate complex information into clear narratives and polished visual products, while ensuring quality, compliance with branding/accessibility standards, and on-time delivery.
Develop executive-ready briefings, presentations, and written communications in support of program priorities.
Create original graphics, charts, and data visualizations; advise on layout and design to improve clarity and impact.
Perform quality control to ensure deliverables are accurate, grammatically correct, and compliant with branding, formatting, and accessibility requirements.
Support day-to-day communications operations and assist in executing communication strategies and initiatives.
Draft and coordinate newsletters, announcements, internal updates, and other communication materials.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather inputs, confirm requirements, and align messaging to organizational goals.
Participate in stakeholder meetings to develop communication approaches and visual solutions to complex problems.
Continuously improve and standardize templates and deliverables to increase consistency, readability, and visual quality.
Requirements
Between seven (7) and nine (9) years of relevant experience (may be satisfied through a combination of education and work experience)
Master’s degree = 6 years of experience or Bachelor’s degree = 4 years of experience or Associate’s degree = 2 years of experience
Degrees must be from an accredited college or university.
Knowledge management or learning development experience.
Strong facilitation, program/activity management, and written/verbal communication skills.
Expert-level PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills; Excel experience preferred (especially integrating with PowerPoint).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite to produce professional collateral.
Ability to incorporate multimedia into Microsoft Office documents and presentations.
Experience supporting communications, operations, or administrative teams.
Familiarity with corporate communications processes.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork.
