Responsibilities
Generate new sales revenue by hunting and prospecting within your territory
Actively hunt for new leads through external networks and cold calling
Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers
Present tailored growth opportunities to both current and potential clients
Develop new accounts and expand existing ones by establishing and nurturing long-term relationships
Utilize consultative selling skills to overcome objections and close sales opportunities
Craft responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and present beneficial products and services
Design and implement strategic initiatives to grow and retain revenue streams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
5-8+ years of outside sales and/or B2B sales experience, with a preference for technology-based sales
Experience and knowledge in IT and advanced technology
Proficiency in managing sales funnels and previous experience with CRM systems
Must have a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, current auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle to meet the transportation needs of the market
Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed assigned sales targets
