Responsibilities
Provide leadership, assurance and strategic direction across planning activities
Lead and manage planning teams, providing coaching, direction and quality assurance
Develop overall planning strategy for programmes
Oversee development and maintenance of fully integrated project and programme schedules
Provide authoritative schedule analysis for senior stakeholders
Lead schedule‑related elements of performance measurement, including Earned Value Management
Ensure effective baseline management and alignment with contractual requirements
Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
Drive continuous improvement across planning processes
Oversee compliance with relevant contract requirements
Support bid and work‑winning activities
Requirements
Relevant years of planning experience
Strong leadership experience, including managing planning teams
Advanced proficiency in planning software, including Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Open Plan, Asta Powerproject
Deep understanding of schedule development, logic, critical path, constraints
Proven experience leading schedule‑cost‑risk integration and performance measurement
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Broad understanding of project controls disciplines and their interaction with planning
Strong understanding of relevant contract forms (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
