About the role

Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade and monitor software and hardware
- Maintain the operating systems, business applications, security tools, webservers, local and wide area networking both hardware and software and mid-range server hardware
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or scientific field (engineering, physics), or equivalent experience
- Experience with network architecture, security, application and database software installation and maintenance.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.
- Experience configuring, automating, provisioning, monitoring, and managing/reporting compliance for software, hardware networks, communications circuits, storage, and backup/recovery in an agile environment.
- Experience using one or more of the following: Citrix, VMware, Linux, Shell Scripting, open-source hosting tools, Cisco Networking, provisioning and deploying software.
- Strong Experience Arista EOS/CloudVision and F5 BIG-IP
- Experience with network devices (routers/switches)
- Expertise in protocols like BGP, OSPF, VxLAN, and EVPN.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Python scripting and network automation.
- Experience with open-source tools including Mongo, and Docker Containers; experience with monitoring and management software (e.g. Splunk, Nagios, NetFlow, SolarWinds).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust level clearance
- CCIE or similar advanced networking certification
