Personal Trust Manager leading and growing the Personal Trust business at Associated Bank. Responsible for driving client relationships, team performance, and strategic initiatives in Wausau.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Personal Trust team, setting goals, coaching performance, and developing talent.
Drive business development by cultivating client relationships and expanding new business opportunities.
Oversee administration of high-value Personal Trust accounts, ensuring exceptional client service and compliance.
Partner across business lines to identify client needs and deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and strategies to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
Manage departmental budget, monitor performance, and optimize resource allocation.
Represent the Personal Trust line of business in leadership committees and strategic initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key internal partners and external centers of influence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
8+ years of Personal Trust, Estate & Probate experience
5+ years of leadership experience in financial services or investment management
8+ years of personal financial planning experience
Ability to travel locally and reliable transportation
Preferred: Juris Doctor (JD), CFP (Certified Financial Planner) designation, CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor) designation.
