About the role

Responsibilities
- Support the calculation and assessment of direct and indirect taxes (ISSQN, IRRF, CSRF, PIS/COFINS, IRPJ/CSLL) and Simples Nacional
- Perform bookkeeping entries and reconciliations
- Prepare trial balances, balance sheet and income statement (DRE)
- Assist in the preparation and submission of ECD and ECF filings
- Prepare Individual Income Tax (IRPF) returns in accordance with current legislation
- Monitor and verify tax compliance at federal, state and municipal levels
- Issue and validate Tax Clearance Certificates (Certidões Negativas de Débitos - CND)
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal deadlines
- Provide client support, answering queries and offering technical assistance
- Support the submission of municipal, state and federal ancillary obligations
- Contribute to the preparation of accounting and tax reports for decision-making
- Research and stay up to date on changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
- Use provided systems and tools efficiently
- Apply advanced Excel skills for analysis and controls.
Requirements
- Technical or university degree in Accounting (in progress or completed)
- Knowledge of accounting and tax routines
- Familiarity with Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit (Lucro Presumido) regimes
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Good communication and organizational skills.
