About the role

  • Strategic People Partner supporting HR initiatives in a retail environment. Leading organizational change and improving colleague experience across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support workstreams within major people projects (e.g., workforce planning, simplification, organisational change).
  • Translate strategy into clear plans, milestones and deliverables.
  • Use data and insight to shape decisions and produce high‑quality papers, analysis and updates.
  • Work closely with Centres of Excellence (Reward, Talent, ER, OD, Learning) to coordinate and align people solutions.
  • Create documentation, reporting packs and governance materials that support project delivery.
  • Identify risks, issues and dependencies — and help drive them to resolution.
  • Improve people processes and routines by simplifying, standardising and removing friction.

Requirements

  • Experience in HR, people operations or project-based roles within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills; able to manage multiple priorities with discipline and pace.
  • Confident with data, dashboards and structured analysis.
  • Natural collaborator, able to work across multiple Centres of Excellence.
  • Clear, concise communicator — comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset, with the curiosity and initiative to improve how we work.
