About the role

  • Business Development Manager for Arrow ECS developing Fortinet partnerships with strategic engagement. Collaborating with sales and technical teams to achieve business objectives through targeted enablement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic and operational development of the business in ongoing collaboration with team members
  • Defining, implementing and monitoring vendor objectives using business plans
  • Active partner acquisition and development through targeted enablement activities at customer sites
  • Close cooperation with Pre-Sales, Sales and Marketing to strategically plan and execute go-to-market activities
  • Actively maintaining and continuously expanding a personal network through close collaboration, including regular coordination to build and grow business relationships with the vendor and our partners
  • Tracking and driving forecast targets
  • Solution-oriented product and pricing positioning in coordination with business stakeholders
  • Active support and assistance to Sales in project business, including technical consulting for our reseller customers
  • Preparing information for websites, partner newsletters and the intranet
  • Contributing to the development of marketing plans and strategies
  • Monitoring market trends, key technologies and competitors active in the market

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training in the IT field
  • At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for sales
  • Independent, responsible and structured working style
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Team player
  • Business-fluent German, spoken and written
  • Good command of English, spoken and written
