About the role
- Senior Engineer/Project Manager managing water/wastewater-related projects at Arcadis. Responsible for project lifecycle management and collaboration with engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities
- manage the full spectrum of the project lifecycle (conceptual-level planning, permitting, detailed design development, and construction support)
- oversee the development of design calculations, technical report sections, technical design drawings and specifications
- prepare construction packages for clients
- develop cost estimates and project schedules
- supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff
- prepare and present project-related information to clients for weekly and monthly progress meetings
- travel for project site visits, client meetings, or other project-related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or related field.
- 12 years of relevant engineering project management experience.
- PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- experience in project management involving design and construction engineering for water and wastewater projects is preferred.
- demonstrated project leadership experience, having served as a Project Manager, Design Lead, or Technical Lead on projects of varying sizes.
