About the role

  • Store Development Project Manager executing store openings and renovations for Läderach, a Swiss chocolatier. Collaborating with global teams to ensure design and budget compliance.

Responsibilities

  • You will implement store-opening projects and renovation measures in collaboration with local teams worldwide – ensuring compliance with design specifications, timelines and budgets
  • You will manage the store-opening process including feasibility studies, design implementation in line with CI, approval procedures, building permit processes, tendering as well as quality, time and cost control
  • You will independently take on tasks in the area of store development, e.g. rollouts of displays, evaluation and optimization of the store design concept and the development of design guidelines
  • You will support procurement projects and drive cost optimization measures, e.g. through value engineering, tenders or the establishment of a supplier framework
  • You will manage external partners such as project management firms, design agencies, contractors and interior fit-out companies
  • You will support the retail division with maintenance and construction measures

Requirements

  • Ideally, you have an architectural background and initial experience in store development
  • You have initial experience in retail construction, retail design or project management in related areas
  • You have experience selecting and managing external partners – from preparing briefs to achieving objectives
  • You work cross-functionally and are able to involve internal and external stakeholders in the project process at the right time
  • You have good knowledge of Office 365 (especially Excel and PowerPoint) as well as Teams, AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar tools – and can sketch and communicate visual ideas simply and efficiently
  • You build successful relationships with internal interfaces and external partners
  • You work with focus, prioritize tasks sensibly, are self-motivated, well organized and communicate proactively
  • You possess strong communication skills in English – German and other languages are an advantage
  • You are willing to travel internationally for assignments (approx. 30%)
