About the role

  • Systems Engineer developing and maintaining architecture for missile warning systems. Collaborating with engineering teams to improve network performance at Apogee Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in the identification, evaluation, preparation and maintenance of architecture, to include networks
  • Support the definition, planning, organization, network engineering and opportunity management efforts across executing SEWS Task Orders
  • Assess and manage resources in projects and project activities for Space Systems Command SEWS Program Office
  • Participate in all engineering activities required to deliver mission-critical infrastructure and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security for SEW data delivery
  • Support engineering efforts in all aspects of networking activities to include resources, configuration management, changes in networks and information systems as needed
  • Review and collaborate on engineering changes and coordinate with change owners and technical leads

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Active Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
  • High school diploma
  • 10 or more years of experience in Missile Warning/Command and Control Systems
  • Network Engineering Background
  • Product Life-cycle Management tool experience - prefer ARAS tool familiarization
  • Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) - Policy, procedures, and systems architecture
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales Experience to include ITAR policy
  • Familiarity with interface control documentation
