About the role
- Senior Product Designer at Apify, responsible for improving core product experience. Working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Own the design process for a major product area from concept to launch (your focus will evolve as Apify and the team grow)
- Build on Apify’s design system to keep Apify Console, Apify Store, and web consistent (and looking sharp)
- Partner with PMs and engineers to solve real user problems, not just make things pretty
- Give and get honest feedback in design reviews - we're here to make each other better
- Push our design capabilities forward by testing new tools and approaches when they actually help
- Explain your design decisions clearly to everyone from developers to executives
Requirements
- You have 5+ years designing digital products
- You can work within design systems without making everything look the same - you know when to extend and when to follow the rules
- You're fluent in Figma (not just familiar - you actually use it daily)
- You speak at least conversational English
- You can gather feedback from users and data, then actually use it to make decisions
- You make complex interfaces simple without dumbing them down
- You have front-end development experience
- You can wrap your head around technical products - APIs, web scraping, automation workflows, and developer tools are your comfort zone
- You can work from our Prague office at least twice a week
