About the role
- Senior SAP Procurement Consultant responsible for advising clients on procurement strategies and processes. Involves design and implementation of innovative solutions in procurement and supply chain management.
Responsibilities
- You provide clients with comprehensive, tailored advice on strategic procurement and supply chain processes.
- You support clients in developing and implementing procurement strategies, category strategies, supplier strategies, and sourcing and buying-channel strategies to optimize their procurement processes.
- You play a key role in designing, shaping and implementing new processes, particularly in technology-enabled procurement transformations.
- You develop creative ideas to increase user adoption of new (digitalized) processes based on your procurement experience.
- You analyze requirements, develop training and communication concepts and materials, and continuously improve the user experience.
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience: You have extensive experience in strategic procurement within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Responsibility for production materials: You have previously managed at least one category in the production materials area.
- SAP expertise: You understand integration points between SAP modules and third‑party systems and have a strong grasp of end‑to‑end procurement processes.
- Process understanding: You understand business processes from the perspective of companies and end users.
- Language skills: You have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel: You are willing to travel and enjoy working on projects in a national or international environment.
