About the role
- Senior Manager of Product Structure managing the implementation of PLM and MES systems in a fast-growing robotics company. Leading product architecture and collaborating with executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Architect the digital backbone connecting robotic innovations to real-world production
- Strategically own the implementation and evolution of PLM and MES systems and processes
- Govern product architecture for complex mechatronic systems, ensuring synchronization of EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM
- Define and execute PLM and MES roadmap in collaboration with executive stakeholders
- Build an integrated, enterprise-grade ecosystem that accelerates product development, enables traceability, and scales product data excellence
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in Configuration, PLM and MES system management, administration and implementation, ideally in hardware or complex mechatronic product environments
- Proven track record leading cross-functional PLM projects with enterprise impact — from roadmap design to hands-on delivery
- Strong technical knowledge of PLM architectures (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Arena, CIM Database), MES systems (e.g. Tulip, Opcenter) and their integration with ERP, CAD, and quality systems
- Deep understanding of business processes spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and service
- Highly effective communicator with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, including senior leadership and management
- Demonstrated mentoring, training, or enablement of teams in system adoption and process maturity
- Fluency in English required; German is a strong plus
