About the role
- Engineer project circular economy managing building material reuse projects at Antea Group France. Collaborating with various stakeholders to promote sustainable waste management strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, execute and monitor circular economy projects
- Characterize materials: carry out resource diagnostics, PEMD, and identify materials suitable for reuse and recovery
- Support project owners, local authorities and companies in developing and implementing circular economy strategies
- Propose, assess and implement practical, tailored solutions to reuse, repurpose and recycle materials arising from deconstruction
- Create synergies between projects and stakeholders and ensure coordination
- Seek buyers and suppliers for reused materials among local actors
- Support the integration of reused materials into operations
- Monitor operations and construction sites (selective deconstruction of buildings to enable material reuse and recycling/value recovery of waste)
- Participate in the technical and commercial development of the circular economy activity as a whole.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge of building construction systems is required
- Strong interpersonal skills, good organizational ability and solid written communication skills
- A strong interest in environmental issues and the circular economy is important
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) is required
- Curiosity, adaptability and initiative will be valued
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple projects in parallel
