About the role
- Accounting Technician supporting financial operations in a multinational IoT company. Ensuring accurate records and collaborating in audits while managing financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
- Process and reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
- Manage expense reporting processes
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring deadlines are met
- Assist with month-end close tasks, including account reconciliations and analysis
- Provide support to the accounting and financial operations of the Portuguese entity
- Collaborate in the audit process, preparing documentation and liaising with the CPA
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of accounting processes and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping procedures and month end close activities
- Excellent MS Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP Primavera preferred
- Experience with EPICOR preferred
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Multinational environment experience
- Organization and problem-solving skills
