About the role

  • Interface Engineer involved in developing and delivering Strategic Pipeline and WRMP projects at Anglian Water. Collaborating with operational teams to ensure effective project execution and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of the Strategic Pipeline and other Water Resource Management Plan (WRMP) Capital Delivery Projects.
  • Work closely with Anglian Water Operational teams and the SPA and @One Design & Delivery teams.
  • Support design development and ensure risks to AW operations from construction works are fully mitigated.
  • Communicate plans clearly across teams and verify mitigation measures are in place before and during delivery.
  • Take a balanced view of operational and project delivery needs and promote collaboration between operational and SPA teams.
  • Support design teams in gathering information to base the design on and provide operational expertise.

Requirements

  • Proactive, collaborative and approachable with excellent communication skills.
  • Planning and organisational skills demonstrating working to key programme milestones.
  • Provide operational experience to assist the Delivery teams in development of design and constructability of assets
  • Ensuring key stakeholder such as the AW operational teams are appropriately included in developments to existing and new assets.
  • Ensure learning and best practice is incorporated into plans.
  • Ability to capture and ensure best practice and lessons learned are embedded in future work activities.
