About the role
- Project Engineer executing small to medium gas operations projects with Service Stream in Melbourne. Delivering project success through effective collaboration and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Estimating Projects; Building estimates in collaboration with key field personnel.
- Populating client returnable as required Maintaining estimating deadlines
- Mobilising Projects; Conduct Tender Handover meeting; Review Contract Documents; Develop the Project Management Plan including the project control metrics for monitoring safety, time, cost and quality progress; Establish project team and organise activities prior to project commencement.
- Leadership of the Project team ensuring cohesion and collaboration; Delivery of the project in a way that prevents harm.
- Client liaison and reporting; Closeout of Projects; Achievement of timely project completion; Submission of all documents required at completion such as as-builts, manuals etc; Attainment of client acknowledgement of Practical Completion; Return of security at Practical Completion.
Requirements
- Graduate level through to 5 years’ experience within the Civil Constructions industry
- Previous experience within the relevant and local utilities environment (advantageous)
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent (advantageous)
- Ability to work with Mathematical concepts.
- Ability to lead and manage teams
- Ability to deal diligently, patiently and professionally with internal stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Self-starter, able to determine own priorities and manage work accordingly
- Analytical with ability to identify and suggest areas for process improvement and drive efficiency
