About the role

  • Learning & Development Specialist focusing on onboarding and training new Import Specialists for Deringer operations. Developing materials and overseeing the Learning Management System with a focus on operational alignment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop training materials to support routine and new training programs
  • Create supplementary resources for Import 101
  • Support internal Learning Management System by assigning materials to new hires
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding instruction and scheduling
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to newly hired Import Specialists
  • Evaluate training effectiveness by monitoring feedback surveys and analyzing performance metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years in a brokerage-related role
  • Proven record of helping to train/onboard new colleagues
  • Understanding of adult learning principles is preferred
  • High school diploma required; certifications/licenses and continuing education preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Familiarity with ActivePresenter, Brainier LMS, Articulate Suite, Canva, and principles of instructional design
