Contracts Manager responsible for optimizing contracting processes and managing lifecycle in preparation for drug launch at Amylyx Pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities
Optimize and implement contracting processes and best practices, ensuring efficient workflows, compliance, and continuity across teams.
Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle for a broad set of contracts, e.g. services, confidentiality, research collaborations, and other commercial or operational contracts.
Maintain the contract management system and repository, including metadata accuracy, key date tracking, renewal management, obligation monitoring, tags, parties and reporting.
Partner closely with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Clinical, Commercial, and other business partners) to ensure contract terms align with business and compliance needs.
Develop, update, and maintain contract templates and playbooks in partnership with Legal advisors.
Develop and maintain CLMS training materials and provide new hire and refresher training sessions as well as ad hoc support.
Establish and track contracting KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to provide visibility into system performance and contracting volume.
Partner with the IT Administrator to drive continuous contracting process improvements, including identifying opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and the use of Artificial Intelligence tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; JD or Paralegal Certification preferred.
3–5 years of experience in contract management and with CLM system(s).
Strong ability to prioritize, independently manage workload, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a focus on customer service and excellent attention to detail.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
