About the role

  • Associate Sales Manager driving growth of Ameriprise advisors through coaching and personalized learning. Collaborating with sales teams and managing cohorts to enhance advisor practices.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Regional Sales Managers and Regional Sales Directors to drive organic growth of advisors
  • Manage ongoing engagement with new advisors
  • Develop personalized learning plans for advisors
  • Manage up to 60 different cohorts of advisor learners
  • Collaborate with cross organizational team members
  • Build and update unique scoreboards for each cohort
  • Support calendar of learning and growth labs
  • Provide first line support during calls
  • Work with learning team to develop event expectations and content
  • Work with operations team to implement communication ideas

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years’ relevant experience required
  • Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days
  • State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days
  • State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days
  • Previous experience in financial services industry strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of financial planning principles and process
  • Knowledge of advisor practice management processes and systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
