About the role
- Indirect Procurement Director overseeing strategic sourcing and procurement leadership at Amcor. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and achieve value in procurement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional strategic sourcing process for portfolio of categories assigned to achieve targeted TCO reduction while appropriately addressing quality and service levels
- Work closely with functional stakeholders and suppliers to ensure effective strategy development and execution
- Oversee development and execution of sourcing strategies for spend portfolio
- Achieve annual spend/value improvements across entire portfolio
- Drive working capital improvement strategies and initiatives
- Lead, motivate and develop procurement co-workers
- Ensure the right people are in the right place with the appropriate support
- Develop trust within the businesses
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years relevant procurement and/or supply chain leadership experience
- Relevant experience in a company with a mature procurement function
- Experience working in an international company
- Proven leadership skills, influence and communication skills
- University degree in a relevant discipline (MBA preferred)
