Cloud Engineer managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for Alterric's energy transition initiatives. Driving cloud architecture development and operational responsibilities in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
Operational management and further development of our Azure Landing Zone and central infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, security), including interfaces.
Administration of identities and access rights (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM).
Operation of containers (AKS, Docker) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps).
Implementation of cloud security and governance standards in close cooperation with our external security partner.
Automation with Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Monitoring, troubleshooting and cost optimization using Azure Monitor & Log Analytics.
Support in the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune.
Support for compliance requirements (ISO 27001, KRITIS, NIS2) together with external specialists.
Coordination with external service providers: ensuring quality, response times and transfer of expertise.
Requirements
Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
Experience in Azure cloud engineering and/or with Microsoft 365 services.
Knowledge in some of the following areas: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams.
Willingness to work on new topics and continuously expand your knowledge.
Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners.
Very good German and good English skills.
