About the role

  • Cloud Engineer managing Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for Alterric's energy transition initiatives. Driving cloud architecture development and operational responsibilities in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operational management and further development of our Azure Landing Zone and central infrastructure (networking, compute, storage, security), including interfaces.
  • Administration of identities and access rights (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM).
  • Operation of containers (AKS, Docker) and serverless services (Functions, Logic Apps).
  • Implementation of cloud security and governance standards in close cooperation with our external security partner.
  • Automation with Terraform and building CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and cost optimization using Azure Monitor & Log Analytics.
  • Support in the administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and Intune.
  • Support for compliance requirements (ISO 27001, KRITIS, NIS2) together with external specialists.
  • Coordination with external service providers: ensuring quality, response times and transfer of expertise.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience in Azure cloud engineering and/or with Microsoft 365 services.
  • Knowledge in some of the following areas: Terraform/Bicep, Azure DevOps, Python, SQL, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams.
  • Willingness to work on new topics and continuously expand your knowledge.
  • Experience with agile methods (Scrum/Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with internal and external partners.
  • Very good German and good English skills.
