About the role

  • Office Administrator overseeing daily office operations and administrative support for People & Organisation Team in a pet food company. Engaging in various organizational tasks to maintain workforce productivity and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in maintaining a productive and positive work environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, managing administrative tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the People & Organisation Team as needed.
  • Check and distribute incoming post and packages.
  • Facilitate relationships with company couriers and manage daily office operations.
  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
  • Manage company car contracts and ensure upkeep of cars.
  • Facilitate some IT communications and logistics.
  • Coordinate office logistics, including space planning, equipment procurement, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure well-maintained and equipped office.
  • Address facility-related issues promptly and facilitate relationships with utility providers.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully set up for scheduled meetings.
  • Facilitate communication within the office and collaborate on team activities.
  • Ensure staff gifts are purchased and distributed efficiently.
  • Manage travel arrangements for company-wide events and team workshops.
  • Serve as the point of contact for external enquiries and visitors.
  • Monitor workplace Health & Safety measures.
  • Purchase and set up new IT equipment for new and existing staff members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Problem solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to attend the office at least 4 times a week.
