About the role

  • Senior Product Designer at almentor driving web and mobile product design for an e-learning platform. Engaging in user research and collaborating with Product and Engineering to enhance user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and validate product experiences using flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile.
  • Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear hypotheses, user journeys, and design solutions.
  • Clearly communicate your thinking—especially when solving complex problems—so teams can align and move fast.
  • Plan and run your own qualitative research (interviews, usability tests, concept tests) and synthesize findings into insights.
  • Work comfortably with quantitative signals (funnels, feature usage, cohorts, experiment results, support tickets) to inform decisions.
  • Use insights and data to guide design choices—and to evaluate whether what shipped actually worked.
  • Actively participate in product and business discussions: clarify outcomes, shape strategy, and pressure-test ideas.
  • Help define success metrics, trade-offs, and scope boundaries that support business goals without sacrificing UX.
  • Work closely with engineers from early discovery through implementation—making pragmatic choices, protecting UX intent, and respecting constraints.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs across time, scope, quality, and technical feasibility (and explain the “why” behind decisions).

Requirements

  • 5+ years designing digital products with a strong portfolio showing end-to-end thinking (problem → process → outcome).
  • Strong UX fundamentals (information architecture, interaction design, usability, accessibility) and solid UI craft.
  • Comfortable running independent research and using data/insights to guide decisions (not “vibes-only design”).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage trade-offs, and make high-leverage decisions under constraints.
  • Real experience partnering with engineers (handoff, implementation collaboration, iterative delivery).
  • Excellent communication: can explain complex decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, prototyping), and strong documentation habits.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible work environment with hybrid options.
  • The opportunity to make a real impact on the future of learning in the region.
  • Be part of a collaborative team working on cutting-edge educational solutions.
