About the role

  • Senior Associate managing public relations and employee-related work permits for Aldar Properties in Abu Dhabi. Liaise with government entities and ensure compliance with immigration policies.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective management provision of all employee related work-permits and visas for Aldar Properties, Hotels & Hospitality and Yaslinks
  • Manage PROs and liaise with government entities for visas, residence permits, etc.
  • Ensure effective management of company’s public relation requirements and negotiate any quotas on residency permits for staff and their families
  • Allocate PROs as per the requirement
  • Directs and organizes the overall public relations activities of the organization
  • Plans and develops public relations internal and external programs and policies, maintaining employee, public, and shareholder interest and acceptance
  • Assists in identifying the strategic objectives for public relations and communicates those objectives to subordinate management
  • Managing the residence, employment & visit visa applications, renewals/extensions, cancellations & transfer including employee’s family for immigration and labor
  • Plans and implements public relations programs designed to create and maintain favorable public image for the organization
  • Arrange periodic reports on request volumes and sources, application success rates and rejection factors, etc.
  • Receive requests from legal and strategic investments to renew the trade licenses of subsidiaries and ADX
  • Renew the trade license of Aldar on a yearly basis
  • Issue the ALDAR PoA based on legal department requests
  • Collection of proxy votes for Aldar shareholder for the EGM and AGM on an annual basis
  • Assist head of HR and Administration departments in setting policies and guidelines for visas, work permits, residencies and family related matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Strong conflict resolution/management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great understanding of policies, procedures & work methods.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent organization skills
