About the role

  • General Secretary Associate intern supporting the General Secretary on business priorities at Alan. Involves organizing events, conducting research, and recruiting for new associates.

Responsibilities

  • The Associate supports the General Secretary on top business priorities, such as developing new internal and external processes.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in a dynamic, innovative environment.
  • Sales & Business - Prepare meetings with external stakeholders, support post-meeting follow-up, track actions through to conversion, and maintain stakeholder momentum. Assist with organizing events for investors and customers.
  • Corporate & Governance - Support research and projects related to regulatory stakeholders, fundraising, and governance matters. Contribute to board pack preparation and management (content, timelines, Q&A) and conduct targeted legal and market research.
  • Internal missions - Work on high-impact structural topics (salary grids, internal frameworks). Improve internal processes and cross-team coordination to ensure Alan can scale without compromising its core values. Harmonize the weekly internal communication.
  • Brand & Communication - Strengthen the HR & Corporate presence at major events and on social channels; organize internal and external events to grow the Alan network and systematize outreach and leverage connections globally. Lead end-to-end organization of events with top schools at our offices.
  • Product & Technical topics - Support cross-functional projects through research, synthesis, and stakeholder coordination, turning insights into actionable recommendations for product and operations.
  • Talent - Source and recruit the next GS Associate and develop the hiring process for future GS Associates.

Requirements

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French.
