About the role

  • Finance & Accounting Transformation Project Officer at Airbus managing digitalization projects in the Finance department. Involves coordinating actions and ensuring project governance based in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor Digitalization & Shared Services projects actions by phase, ensuring appropriate pace and plan adherence
  • Monitor defined deadlines and deliverables, identifying deviations and drafting regular project performance reports
  • Identify, analyze, and escalate project risks and delays, proposing proactive solutions to mitigate impacts
  • Provide project communication and organize regular meetings to ensure an effective interface with internal Finance teams, US entities, and external auditors
  • Establish and maintain long-term project governance, standardizing the organization and archiving of documents

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level (Master's or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Project Management or Business Administration
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Auditing, Accounting or Digitalization projects (apprenticeships and internships included)
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (desirable)
  • Solid Systems & IT skills (SAP, Excel, Google Suite)
  • Language Skills: negotiation level of English
