About the role

  • Customer Service Operator at Becklar processing alarm signals and assisting clients in emergencies. Engaging in ongoing training while ensuring professionalism in all responses and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally while managing stressful situations
  • Dispatch the proper authorities to subscribers' locations in emergencies
  • Verify that help is on the way and notify responsible parties
  • Assist our alarm company partners with alarm system tests
  • Accurately document all responses for the alarm on the computer
  • Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be available to work Day/Early morning shifts
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm
  • Must be willing to work 1 weekend day each week or every other weekend
  • Must be willing to work holidays
  • Ability to make a 6 month commitment to work here
  • Must be able to pass a 2 week fully-paid training class
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
