About the role

  • Inside Customer Service Rep/Data Entry Clerk at AGM providing customer service and support in Tucson, AZ. Collaborating with multiple departments to meet customer needs and enhance satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, fax, or email, accurately determining their requirements and needs.
  • Utilize available resources to provide quotes and process orders efficiently, maintaining meticulous documentation.
  • Effectively communicate pricing, lead times, and product information to both new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with various departments to fulfill special customer requests, optimizing solutions and building strong customer relationships.
  • Stay informed about our production and shipping methods to ensure accurate delivery timelines and proactive communication.
  • Champion continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to office procedures and departmental performance.

Requirements

  • Must have at least a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • An Associate's degree (A. A./A.S.) from a two-year college is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience and/or training in client management, customer relations, and data entry is required.
  • Display strong analytical skills to efficiently address customer inquiries and provide optimal solutions.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adapting your approach as needed.
  • Possess the ability to switch focus quickly while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Showcase computer literacy, solid typing skills, and an aptitude for navigating digital tools.
  • Must have excellent fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Skilled in writing routine reports, emails, and memos.
  • Capable of effective verbal communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
  • Comfortable with regular talking and hearing.
  • Capable of standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and occasionally stooping or kneeling.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Possess specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
