About the role
- Fiscal Analyst ensuring tax compliance and monitoring regulations for Afya. Collaborating with government representatives to manage fiscal obligations and audits.
Responsibilities
- Perform tax calculation operations by extracting information and ensuring data consistency for preparing tax calculations and ancillary tax filings, as well as support data extraction and analysis of KPI results.
- Prepare and review the calculation of federal taxes, ensuring consistency with current laws and regulations.
- Monitor processes to ensure compliance with tax and fiscal requirements at municipal, state and federal levels, meeting primary and ancillary obligations.
- Handle withholding tax and contribution calculations and respond to inspections, notices and audits.
- Issue service invoices and ad-hoc invoices upon request.
- Maintain collaboration with other teams in the Shared Services Center (CSC) to ensure results and team efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Preparation/calculation of IRPJ and CSLL (Corporate Income Tax and Social Contribution on Net Profit).
- Issuance of service invoices (NFS).
- Calculation of federal and municipal taxes.
- Experience supporting audits and tax inspections.
- Experience in the education sector is a plus.
- Experience with RM (TOTVS RM).
