Delivery Manager overseeing software deliveries in the AeviPay ecosystem. Collaborating with development teams and ensuring timely releases for international markets.
Responsibilities
Act as an interface for the software development team, facilitating communication with other roles within Aevi.
Understand business requirements and use solution designs from technical analysis as the foundation for software development.
Oversee estimation methodologies and technical estimations to ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability.
Collaborate with the Software Development Team Lead to plan and prioritise individual deliveries and sprints based on solution designs.
Liaise with the QA/Testing team and participate in planning QA activities.
Interact with project managers, providing them with delivery schedules and timelines.
Work with Operations/Release Managers, providing inputs for release deployment into respective environments.
Contribute to the creation of product roadmaps, specifically ensuring technical requirements, feasibility, and estimated effort are addressed.
Participate in technology decision-making within the team, including standardization of reusable code bases, software tool versions, best practices, source control, and deployment processes.
Manage product delivery for international markets and multiple customers.
Leverage software development or software architecture experience to enhance delivery processes.
Utilize knowledge of cloud technologies and environments such as AWS to support delivery initiatives.
Foster a collaborative and agile environment, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards across all software deliveries.
Requirements
Proven experience in software delivery management within a complex ecosystem.
Strong understanding of the SDLC and experience with agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between technical and business teams.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
Background in software development or software architecture.
Ability to manage and deliver products for international markets and multiple customers.
Familiarity with release management and deployment processes.
Knowledge of quality assurance practices and experience coordinating QA activities.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, Agile certifications) is nice to have but not a must.
Understanding of financial technology and payment systems is an advantage.
Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
