About the role

  • Logistics Analyst managing transportation processes, KPIs, and cost analysis for Adeste's operations in Brazil. Focusing on efficiency improvements and contractor management.

Responsibilities

  • Plan inbound and outbound transportation for collection and delivery of raw materials and inputs, monitor transfers of finished goods between plants, and manage freight-in-transit contracts, targeting process improvements and reductions in logistics costs;
  • Create and monitor Logistics KPIs;
  • Analyze freight costs and per-diem charges incurred during pick-ups and deliveries at our sites;
  • Contract carriers for collection of inputs, finished products, and production and maintenance materials;
  • Optimize collection routing to ensure minimal transit time and lowest operational cost;
  • Identify and onboard new carriers;
  • Monitor freight payments to carriers;
  • Participate in process analysis and improvement projects (PDCA);
  • Manage Ticket Log fuel cards, Sem Parar tags, fleet maintenance, and invoices from fleet leasing companies;
  • Enter invoices into the system related to maintenance of the company-owned fleet;
  • Assist in preparing standards, procedures, and operational instructions;
  • Verify CTEs (electronic transport documents) and record entries in the fiscal/tax table;
  • Prepare the monthly vehicle expense cost spreadsheet;
  • Process requisitions and purchase orders in the fleet parts and services system;
  • Request pick-ups for the export market (outbound shipments);
  • Prepare presentations for the monthly closing of the department;
  • Control freight spending: Budgeted vs. Actual in accordance with the budget.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel) - Level: Intermediate;
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Power BI) - Level: Basic;
  • Bachelor's degree (completed).
