About the role

• Test Automation Developer focusing on automation testing in the banking sector. Engage in exciting projects and take ownership of automation testing development.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Execute automated and manual test cases to identify defects, performance issues, and usability gaps.
• Log, track, and report defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact assessment.
• Collaborate closely with developers and architects to understand feature functionality, system design, and integration points.
• Perform regression, integration, and performance testing through automated frameworks to ensure application stability and scalability.
• Continuously enhance QA automation processes, tools, and frameworks, driving adoption of best practices and improving overall testing efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Test Automation Development with exposure to complex systems and large-scale projects.
• Proven experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
• Strong problem-solving drive with a proactive, pragmatic, and adaptable mindset.
• Hands-on experience with Java-based frameworks or .NET is highly desirable.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Playwright, Postman, Swagger.
• Knowledge of SEPA standards, ISO 20022, and SWIFT protocols.
• Proficient in JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with large initiatives, complex integrations, or mainframe systems (AS-400) is a plus.
• Domain knowledge in fintech, financial services, insurance, payments, or banking is a plus.
