About the role

  • Tax Licensing Analyst responsible for managing tax-related licenses and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local authorities at AdaptHealth.

Responsibilities

  • Transition and streamline all tax-related licenses under the tax department at AdaptHealth
  • Ensure the company remains in good standing with all tax authorities
  • Oversee and update all tax-related licenses as needed
  • Ensure timely completion of license renewals for expiring licenses
  • Maintain and update a detailed tax license calendar
  • Build and maintain a reference guide documenting license requirements
  • Process new tax license applications and registrations
  • Coordinate with tax authorities to resolve licensing issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience
  • Sufficient experience with Microsoft programs, primarily excel
  • Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations and nexus principles preferred
  • Experience working with state revenue department websites and online filing systems
  • Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration platforms for document management
