About the role

Responsibilities
- You will take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team and ensure efficient collaboration and the ongoing development of team members.
- You are responsible for proper accounting in accordance with HGB and for preparing annual financial statements and tax returns across multiple countries.
- You will handle the monthly reporting under US GAAP for our parent company and ensure compliance with SOX controls.
- You will manage liquidity planning and payment transactions.
- You are responsible for organizing and processing monthly payroll and payments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Requirements
- You have a completed degree in business administration or a commercial vocational qualification, plus further certification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance-sheet accountant), and you bring solid professional experience in international accounting standards, tax law and financial accounting.
- You already have experience as a team lead in an accounting environment or are looking to take the next step to gain leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor preferred), ideally with Key User experience in an ERP implementation project.
- You work independently, have the drive to get things done and are solution- and results-oriented.
- You have business-fluent (negotiation-level) German and proficiency in English.
