Responsibilities
Team leadership: You take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team and ensure efficient collaboration as well as the ongoing professional development of team members.
Financial accounting: You are responsible for proper bookkeeping in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), and for preparing annual financial statements and tax returns in multiple countries.
Reporting: You handle the monthly US-GAAP reporting for our parent company and ensure compliance with SOX controls.
Cash management: You oversee liquidity planning and the management of payment transactions.
Payroll: You are responsible for organizing and processing monthly payroll and payments in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Requirements
You have a degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship, plus further qualification as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant).
You bring solid professional experience in international accounting, tax law and financial accounting.
You already have experience as a team lead in an accounting environment or are looking to take the next step into a leadership role.
Deep understanding of ERP systems (Infor is an advantage); ideally experience as a key user in an ERP implementation project.
You work independently, have the drive to take initiative and are solution- and results-oriented.
You have business-fluent German and English skills.
