About the role
- Senior Network Engineer responsible for strategic planning and management of corporate network infrastructure. Collaborating with teams to troubleshoot cross-platform solutions and maintain robust network performance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall management of network switches, firewalls, VPN and wireless
- Architect and planning of network designs
- Implement upgrades, patches, and configurations
- Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
- Monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Provide secure, reliable, and cost-effective network solutions using industry best practices
- Manage capacity planning for network equipment while architecting upgrade paths for growth
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all global network technologies
- Evaluate, test, recommend and implement new network services and technologies as required
Requirements
- Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor of Arts Degree
- Eight years of experience in enterprise networking
- Enterprise experience working with Cisco, Dell, Brocade, Aruba, Shoretel, Nortel/Avaya and Fortinet
- Experience with network design and implementation planning
- Proven project management experience
- Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CCNP Certification required. CCIE preferred
- Certifications in Cisco DCUCI, CCVP, VIVND, IUWND and CompTIA A+ preferred but not required
