Responsibilities
Responsible for overall management of network switches, firewalls, VPN and wireless
Architect and planning of network designs
Implement upgrades, patches, and configurations
Create and maintain network documentation and diagrams
Monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution
Provide secure, reliable, and cost-effective network solutions using industry best practices
Manage capacity planning for network equipment while architecting upgrade paths for growth
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all global network technologies
Evaluate, test, recommend and implement new network services and technologies as required
Requirements
Minimum Education Requirements: Bachelor of Arts Degree
Eight years of experience in enterprise networking
Enterprise experience working with Cisco, Dell, Brocade, Aruba, Shoretel, Nortel/Avaya and Fortinet
Experience with network design and implementation planning
Proven project management experience
Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
CCNP Certification required. CCIE preferred
Certifications in Cisco DCUCI, CCVP, VIVND, IUWND and CompTIA A+ preferred but not required
