About the role

  • Business Manager driving sales success and fostering customer relationships, ensuring key business objectives are met within the food services sector.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver principals’ volume, share, and sales fundamental goals.
  • Communicate principals’ priorities to various managers to ensure in-store presence and objectives are met.
  • Report directly to the General Manager or Team Leader.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with principals and customers.
  • Coordinate communication between General Managers and key principals.
  • Coordinate market visits and account calls.
  • Leverage insights to develop sales presentations.
  • Provide feedback on principals’ strategies and selling programs.
  • Maintain current account distribution information.
  • Proactively manage personal skill development plan.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures and manage financial aspects of the role.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • A proven track-record in sales; preferably with a food broker or national company.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
  • Proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
  • Willing to travel.
