Responsibilities
Conduct inquiries, price and delivery date negotiations.
Place orders and perform quote comparisons.
Responsible for supplier selection, order processing and supplier evaluation.
Conduct annual negotiations with suppliers.
Continuously optimize through performance monitoring.
Ensure long-term and fair cooperation.
Monitor the market for new products and price developments on an ongoing basis.
Develop proposals for stocking, substitution and sell-off.
Requirements
At least 3 years of verifiable purchasing experience, preferably in a senior role.
Completed vocational training or degree in business administration or a comparable field.
Affinity for technical processes and products.
Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office.
Strong team skills and the ability to collaborate across different hierarchy levels.
Flexibility and willingness to travel for business, with an expected travel rate of about 10%.
